Tuesday Shopping, August 11

Good Morning Shoppers,

I hope you have all been enjoying the delicious Australian Organic Brown
Rice. What a treat after a 2 year absence!

I also hope you all are not too annoyed with me about advertising that we
would finally have Organic Bulk Butter and delivering that butter. Now it
is with great trepidation that after 4 phone calls, 3 email and much
delivery truck searching, I write that I have been promised for the third
time, mind you, that the butter will be delivered, at the Sydney
supplier’s expense, this afternoon. Fingers and toes crossed?

Many members have been inquiring about our Co-op website which has been
under-construction for a little while. I am very pleased to announce that
it is now operational and includes a blog.

And last but not least, here is the information for this week’s

Hi y’all – The 4th Acoustic Soup is on at the Co-op this Wednesday (12th).
Come and get some organic soup and bread between 6pm and 8.30pm this
Wednesday night. It’s $7 for members/students, $8.50 non members, and $5
for kids. It is also an open mic night so rock up and do your stuff
(up until 9.30)
**
*Special guest singer, the wonderful Johnny Huckle who is a power pack of
rhythmical and vocal energy*
We will always need helpers over the night so email
acousticsoupnight@gmail.com if you would like to perform for a 20 minute
set, or help out for an hour or more, in exchange for your dinner. Open mic
is open to all types of performers…singers, musicians, poets, magicians
etc. Helpers are needed to prepare soup, take money, clean up, and run the
P.A. system.

*Help needed especially this week people, as Heidi is doing it solo- call me
(Heidi) 0401 295 970 if you’d like to help chop vegies from 3pm and help
move stuff from a bit after 4 (esp need someone to help shift shelves etc
around to make space for the performance area).*
