International Women’s Day Pedal Powered Cinema
International Women’s Day is next week, so to celebrate and to kick off our pedal powered cinema screenings, we will be showing the documentary ‘Black Chicks Talking‘ on Wednesday 6th March.
Doors open at 7.30, screening begins at 8.00pm. We’ll have all kinds of tasty snacks and drinks for sale, to help you settle into ‘movie mode’. Entry is by donation, with proceeds raised going to support the YWCA and the Co-op.
Acoustic Soup will be held the second Wednesday of each month in 2013…which means the next one will be Wednesday 13th March! Food and music from 6.30pm, members and students $8, everyone else $10. More details about the bands who will be performing coming soon, so watch this space.

We are also looking for another person to join the team as lunch coordinator. You will be responsible for preparing and serving one lunch a week, working with Co-op volunteers and staff. We’re excited to be part of the You Are Here Festival this year!
