We are still looking for volunteers to help us count inventory Sunday, 30 June, during our annual stocktake. We will be kicking off at 9:30am at the Food Co-op Shop. There will be a training/organisational briefing preceding the counting. If you are interested, please email us. Although we prefer volunteers to come for the briefing and stay until the job is finished, we will happily accept any help and time you can offer. Hot lunch will be provided by the Food Co-op Shop.

They are made from renewable plant based bioplastic. To find out more, check out their website. Also, our takeaway cups are now fully compostable. If you don’t have a way to compost them at home, bring them back to us, and we will compost them for you. This makes us the only completely organic, fair-trade, and compostable cafe in Canberra.Having a “keep cup” has its advantages. There are new coffee prices at the cafe for those of you who have a “keep cup” or elect to stay in the Co-op and have your coffee in ceramic. The new prices are:
$3.70 – Small
$4.20 – Large
For anyone who buys a takeaway coffee in one of our new fully compostable takeaway cups, the prices are the same:
