Transforming West Papua into a household topic, one town at a time

6pm Sunday 17th November @ The Food Co-op
3 Kingsley St Acton (ground floor of the Lena Karmel Unilodge building)
Campaigner Jeremy Bally is riding a bicycle loaded with everything from a projector to a ukulele through 7 countries over 6 months on a performance tour aimed at raising awareness of the ongoing human rights and environmental abuse in the under reported region of West Papua.
The performance brings the voices of Papuans to the international stage through a projected animation which brings to life 9 recorded conversations with exiles, refugees and activists from West Papua. Bally narrates this film live on stage using original spoken word poetry and ukulele based hip-hop.Please join us to hear about Jeremy’s campaign and to lend your support to the people of West Papua. Free entry, donations welcome.
