We are a not-for-profit food co-op that knows good food. We carry local, fresh, organic, sustainable, natural, Fair Trade, ethical, bulk and affordable products.
Members own the Co-op, share the benefits of it and have the opportunity to work in it. The Co-op is managed with consensus-based decision making and all members are invited to participate. The Co-op employs two part time managers. Members act as volunteer co-ordinators staffing the store, and perform the other tasks required to keep the Co-op operating.

This 3 part film made by Galina Sanderson and Jess Chen shows some of the many perspectives and ways people can get involved with The Food Co-op.
We’re so grateful for all the effort, love and countless hours that our members and volunteers have put in to the Food Co-op. This has helped us to achieve so much – not only providing healthy, affordable food, but also together we are able to support environmentally conscious, local farmers and growers, offer lots of learning opportunities and foster many beautiful friendships.
Remember you don’t need to be a member to come to the Co-op (although if we see you around here we may encourage you to be one). We have some exciting times ahead and we hope you too feel inspired in strengthening our local food systems and being a part of the community!
