What’s a Veg Box?
A Veg Box is pre-ordered box of seasonal fresh fruit and vegetables at a set price.
How much does it cost?
We have two sizes available: a $25 box (for 1-2 people) and a $50 box (for 3+). The standard membership discounts apply for nonworking members (5%) and volunteers (20%).
What will I get in the Veg Box?
An enjoyable range of seasonal fresh fruit and vegetables. We provide easy-to-use veg such as onions, potatoes, carrots, apples, oranges, lettuce, avocado etc. When we get something special and exciting, we'll throw those in too! You're welcome to make requests for inclusions or exclusions of particular items in your Veg Box.
How does it work?
Boxes are pre-ordered so we know exactly how much to order and pack. Boxes are ready on Wednesday mornings (10am) and throughout normal trading hours. Boxes are packed by volunteers from 4-6pm on Tuesdays. For the box to be ready on Wednesday, please order by 12pm on Monday.
I'm not a member. Can I still order a box?
We encourage Co-op memberships so that people can have full participation, choice and low prices for their food purchases. That being said, boxes are available for everyone.
How do I order and pay?
Talk to a coordinator or manager. Your name, details and box size will be placed on a list. When you pick up your box you can pre-pay and order again. For the box to be ready on Wednesday, please order by 12pm on Monday. For repeat Veg Box customers, send an email to email@example.com.
