      Hi Jacquie,

We have a few brands and types of clothes washing products. We carry locally made Naturally Clean Snow which is a powder that sells for $7.90/kg. We also carry a few liquid products. Please come in and check them out.

Hi, I have noticed that you sell products for the face and body. I am particularly interested in soaps and body lotions. Are these products organic as well?

    • Food Co-op Manager says:

Hi, we are selling some body wash without chemicals with some certified organic ingredients. We also have some organic shampoos and conditioners. Finally, we sell some soaps that are certified organic made in Canberra without palm oil.

I am so excited about this store. I am in the process of applying for a permanent resident visa for Canberra and this shop sounds absolutely super. The bonus with volunteering my time will be meeting other people let alone the discount.

  7. Nic says:

Hello, i am wondering if you sell natural fresh cows milk thats hasnt been processed?

    • Food Co-op Manager says:

Hi Nic, if you mean raw cow’s milk, the Co-op doesn’t stock it at the moment. I understand the problem is that there are no nearby producers, and there are problems maintaining a chilled supply chain from producers interstate. As Nature Intended at Belconnen markets has stocked Cleopatra’s Bath Milk from Gympie in Queensland in the past, but I’m not sure if they still do. NB – it needs to be labelled “bath milk”, “pet milk” or for animal feeding only to satisfy laws which require milk for human consumption to be pasteurised. For some reason, goat milk may be legally sold unpasteurised and is available from Choko Bai Jo and other locations. Good luck, Zoe

  8. Sue says:

    Hi

I am looking to buy white spelt flour in 5kg bags. Do you stock it?

    • Food Co-op Manager says:

Hi Sue, we sell unbleached spelt flour in bulk, so if you bring your own bags or containers you will be able to buy as much as you like.

      Cheers, Zoe

  9. Fred says:

How about steel cut oats in bulk, love it for my morning porridge!

  10. Grace says:

    Hi
I’m looking for somewhere to purchase organic fruit and veg. How much of your product range is organic?
Do you have organic fruit and veg boxes as well?
    Thanks
    Grace

  11. Food Co-op Manager says:

Hi Grace, all produce is the Co-op is certified organic. Occasionally members sell excess produce grown without synthetic chemicals that is not certified, which is labelled. Every item is labelled with whether it is non-organic, organic, biodynamic, etc.

We also have a fruit and veg box service – http://foodco-opshop.com.au/fruit-and-vegetable-boxes-orders/

  12. Alexandra says:

    Hi there

    Do you stock the following?

    all purpose gluten-free flour
    vegan butter
    tapioca starch
    xantham gum
    sorghum flour
    quinoa flakes

    Thanks
    Alexandra

    • Food Co-op Manager says:

Hi Alexandra, the co-op has a large range of unpackaged gluten free items. We don’t presently have in stock Nuttelex or something similar, and I don’t think we have xanthan gum, but most of the other products you’ve inquired about will be in stock. The best approach is to come in and have a look, there’s an extensive range of grains and flours and because the Co-op has a higher sales volume than many places selling these products, you’ll find they are super-fresh.
